Oticon Reveal

Oticon Reveal is Oticon's next-generation rechargeable receiver-in-canal hearing aid with a dual-AI system that analyzes speech and surrounding sounds separately. It blends the two in real time to find each wearer's own balance point between speech clarity and natural environmental awareness.

The Oticon Reveal is a rechargeable receiver-in-canal hearing aid that runs speech and background sound through two separate AI systems, then blends them in real time. The result is conversation you can follow without losing track of what is happening around you. We fit and program the Oticon Reveal at all three Audiology Doctors of New Jersey offices.

Finding the Balance Between Speech and Surroundings

Most hearing aids treat background sound as something to strip away. Reveal takes a different approach with a new dual-AI system: Speech AI works on the voices in front of you, while Context AI holds onto the environmental sounds that still carry useful information, such as a car approaching, a door opening, or someone calling your name from another room. The two systems reassess your surroundings every two milliseconds and settle on what Oticon calls your balance point. This is the third generation of Oticon's AI-based processing, following Oticon More and Oticon Intent, and the engine itself is now called the Reveal AI Clarifier.

Key Features of the Oticon Reveal

These are the features that matter most if your day moves between quiet rooms, noisy ones, and audio streamed straight to your ears.

  • Dual-AI Sound Processing: Speech AI sharpens voices while Context AI preserves surrounding sound, so conversation comes forward without the room going flat.
  • 4D Sensor Technology: Onboard sensors read your head movement, conversation activity, and listening environment before the device decides how to process sound.
  • Reveal Optimizer: An updated feedback prevention system that reduces whistling, giving us more room to fit open and vented styles that leave the ear feeling less blocked.
  • Bluetooth LE Audio and Auracast: Streams calls and media from iPhone and Android, and receives Auracast broadcast audio in venues such as theaters, airports, and places of worship.
  • Streaming Comfort: Automatically lowers surrounding sound while you are streaming, so a phone call or podcast stays in front without you reaching for the volume.
  • Two Charging Options: A desktop charger for overnight use and a portable travel charger for time away from home, so there are no disposable batteries to manage.

Is the Oticon Reveal Right for You?

Reveal is a good match if you prefer a natural, open sound and would rather stay connected to your environment than have it filtered out. It also suits patients who have struggled with whistling in the past or who do better with an open or vented fitting. If you have little or no usable hearing in one ear, a new Oticon CROS transmitter pairs with the platform and routes sound from the weaker side to your better ear. If what you want is background noise cut back as aggressively as possible in restaurants and crowded rooms, a different processing strategy may serve you better, and we will tell you so.

As an independent practice, our audiologists are not tied to any one manufacturer, so a recommendation only makes sense after we have seen your audiogram and talked through where listening has been hardest for you. Care is consistent across our three offices: the same doctors, the same fitting protocol, and the same follow-up schedule wherever you book. A fitting appointment runs 60 to 90 minutes, we see you again at two weeks and one month, and your purchase includes three years of check-ups and programming adjustments.

Schedule a Consultation in Chatham, Hackettstown, or Livingston

To find out whether the Oticon Reveal fits your hearing and your daily routine, the first step is a comprehensive hearing evaluation. It takes about 45 to 60 minutes and shows us how you hear across frequencies and how well you follow speech in noise. Dr. Annette Mazevski, Au.D., Ph.D., and Dr. Scott Yerdon, Au.D., see patients at our Chatham office on Main Street, our Hackettstown office at Doctors Park on Seber Road, and our Livingston office at Roosevelt Plaza, and will walk you through your results before any device is discussed.

One number reaches all three locations. Call Audiology Doctors of New Jersey at 973-636-4327 to book at whichever office is most convenient for you. We are glad to answer your questions first, with no obligation to move ahead.
