Signia MaX

A rechargeable hearing aid built for noisy group conversations, using four AI systems that work together to track voices while managing the sound around you.

The Signia Pure Charge&Go MaX is a rechargeable receiver-in-canal hearing aid built for the hardest listening situation most people face: a group conversation in a noisy room. It is the first device on Signia's new MaX platform, and it uses four AI systems working together rather than one. We fit and program the Signia MaX at all three Audiology Doctors of New Jersey offices.

Four AI Systems Working as One

Most hearing aids apply artificial intelligence to a single job, usually reducing noise. Signia calls its approach Acoustic Intelligence, and it combines four task-specific Deep Neural Networks that share information with each other in real time. One tracks and enhances the people you are talking with, one recognizes your own voice so it sounds natural, one reads the surrounding environment as it changes, and one decides how much of the background noise to soften. The result is a hearing aid designed to follow a conversation as it moves around a table instead of treating every noisy room the same way.

In Signia's own research, 97% of wearers performed better with MaX in noisy group conversations than with key competing devices. These are manufacturer-reported results, and how well any device works still depends on your hearing and a proper fitting.

Key Features of the Signia MaX

  • Acoustic Intelligence: Four coordinated AI systems handle speech, your own voice, the environment, and noise at the same time.
  • RealTime Conversation Enhancement: Locates and lifts multiple talkers during fast-moving group conversations.
  • Own Voice Processing: Recognizes your voice immediately, with no in-clinic calibration step required.
  • OneConnect Connectivity: Combines Bluetooth Classic, Bluetooth LE Audio, and a telecoil in one hearing aid, with Auracast-ready hardware. Full Auracast functionality is expected through a Signia app update by March 2027.
  • Rechargeable Power: Up to 30 hours on a charge, a pocket charger that holds up to four full charges, and a 30-minute quick charge that adds up to six hours of use.
  • Eight Color Options: A standard rechargeable receiver-in-canal shape in eight finishes.

Is the Signia MaX Right for You?

MaX is worth considering if your biggest challenges are restaurants, meetings, family gatherings, and other places where several people talk at once. Its broad connectivity also suits anyone who wants a hearing aid ready for the wireless audio systems now appearing in public venues. That said, the most advanced hearing aid is not automatically the right one for every person.

As an independent practice, our audiologists fit Signia alongside every other major manufacturer, so a recommendation comes only after we have reviewed your hearing test and talked through where listening has been hardest for you.

Schedule a Consultation in Chatham, Hackettstown, or Livingston

The first step is a comprehensive hearing evaluation, about 45 to 60 minutes, showing how you hear across frequencies and how well you follow speech in noise. Dr. Annette Mazevski, Au.D., Ph.D., and Dr. Scott Yerdon, Au.D., see patients in Chatham, Hackettstown, and Livingston, and will review your results before any device is discussed.
